Group Commander of Lucknow group visits CATC camp held at SRMU Barabanki on 19th June 2024

dated 19 June 2024 : The lko Group Commander, Brigadier NEERAJ PUNETHA paid a visit to CATC camp conducted by 63 UP Bn NCC unit from 12 june to 21 June at SRMU Barabanki.
The commander was welcomed by the Commanding officer of the 63 UP Bn, Col HARSH KUMAR JHA,SM adm officer Lt. Col Rakesh Tiwari and Sub Major Arvind Kumar Yadav and guard of honour by cadets.
During the visit, Brigadier NEERAJ PUNETHA expressed his admiration for the high standards of training and discipline maintained in the camp.
The commander also assessed the unit's training activities, observed the cadets' discipline, and interacted with the cadets.
The commander was briefed about the training activities conducted in the camp by the Commanding officer.
In his address to the camp, Brigadier NEERAJ PUNETHA, took the opportunity to engage with the cadets and discuss their experiences of the camp and briefed about various NCC activities
and the significance of the NCC in shaping the character and values of young individuals. He also Praised the unit's efforts in instilling leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility among its Cadets.
A cultural program was organised in mini auditorium, where cadets highlighted the rich diversity showcasing exceptional talent from various cultural backgrounds.
The visit concluded with working lunch where commander interacted with the ANOs and other staff of the university (SRMU) and held a fruitful discussion on expansion of NCC and offering of NCC as elective subject to Science and commerce stream students too.
