63 UP BATTALION NCC, LUCKNOW ORGANISES. ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP

As part of a major training event of NCC Cadets, 63 UP Battalion NCC organised Combined Annual Training Camp 215 at St Joseph’s School, Ruchi Khand, Lucknow. The Camp which commenced on 01 Jun 2022 concludes on 10 Jun 2022. During the camp, the cadets will undergo a number of training activities encompassing Physical Training, Drill, Field Craft, Battle Craft, Map Reading and a whole gamut of other activities towards holistic Personality Development and enhancing the horizon of the Cadets.

In a major boost, a few selected cadets from all across the UP NCC Directorate are also being imparted SSB Training during this camp in which expert instructors would be imparting relevant aspects required for cracking the tough SSB exam, a mandatory  test for commissioning as an officer in the Armed Forces.

           Brig Ravi Kapoor, Group Commander, Lucknow NCC Group visited the location and motivated all the cadets. The commander also oversaw all the arrangements made for the cadets of the camp and appreciated the efforts put in by the CO and other staff of the Unit for the impressive arrangements and meticulous planning of events for the cadets during the camp. The Group Commander also addressed the cadets during which he emphasized the need to seek maximum benefit from the training during the capsule. Brig Kapoor also interacted with the managing director of school Shri Anil Agarwal and thanked him for providing the necessary support.
