CLOSING CEREMONY OF EXERCISE BOLD KURUKSHETRA-2019 AT BABINA MILITARY STATION

The 12th Edition of a Joint Military Exercise BOLD KURUKSHETRA 2019 culminated on 11 April 2019 after an impressive Closing Ceremony held at Babina Military Station. The four day long joint training that commenced on 08 April 2019 included arrival at a common understanding of mechanised warfare, developing interoperability and conduct of joint tactical operation controlled by a Joint Command Post. The troops have not only learnt about each other’s organisations, but have also exchanged ideas and best practices being followed in the Combat Zone.
Brigadier Ranjan Keron, Commander, Armed Brigade of Indian Army and Colonel Goh Han Thong, Deputy Chief Army Officer, Singapore Armed Forces reviewed the parade. Reviewing officers addressed the contingents and congratulated the participating nations for successful termination of the Joint Exercise between the countries. He said that the commitment of Indian Army and Singapore Army in Joint Exercise underscores the cordial defence relationship between the two countries which will help in fostering mutual understanding both at operational and strategic level.
The exercise was a grand success and has taught valuable lessons to the troops of both the participating nations. The camaraderie developed between the contingents during the course of exercise will certainly assist in enhancing confidence between the two Armies.
